Sham Chung Pier
Background
Sham Chung Pier was built in 1960s, located in Tai Po District. The Pier is large L-shaped open pier, located at an exposed location and subject to strong waves.
The pier is located near Sai Kung West Country Park and is frequented by tourists and hikers during holidays and weekends.
Pier Improvement
We have consulted the relevant stakeholders and formulated appropriate improvements to the pier in response to local needs.
