Lai Chi Chong Pier
Background
Lai Chi Chong Pier was built in 1960s, located in Tai Po District. The Pier is a large L-shaped open pier, located at an exposed location near the inlet of Tolo Channel subject to strong coastal effects.
The pier is frequented by tourists during holidays and weekends, as it provides access to the Lai Chi Chong Geo-tour Route of the Geopark.
Pier Improvement
We have consulted the relevant stakeholders and formulated appropriate improvements to the pier in response to local needs.
